Italmek IC25XP
The Italmek Attachment Shear in the photo above is an IC25XP.
The IC25 XP steel shear has a weight of 2.950 kg and a mouth opening of 590 mm. With hydraulic pressure adjusted to 340 bar its cutting capacity is enough to cut a 80 mm full round rod.

EMR Jersey Project
The slideshow above demonstrates an outstanding project that our specialist engineers are qualified of undertaking.
In April 2023, we sent a team of our highly qualified engineers to EMR Jersey to perform a multitude of jobs on their Lefort.
In excellent time, our engineers had the privilege to undertake :
A full box reline
A cutter cylinder reseal
Resealed all wing cylinders
Replaced the main valve block
A pusher block rebuild
And had to clean the hydraulic tank and replace the oil
We are now happy to say the machine is running swiftly and the customer is delighted with the work.

Lefort Amazon 1000 Project
In October & November 2022, we sent a team of our qualified engineers and a team of contractors to a project on a Lefort Amazon 1000. During the weeks the engineers were there, the engineers and contractors performed :
A full cross head reline
A hold down reline
A shear frame reline
They fitted a new hinge to the shute
They replaced the right side of the crosshead with 60mm hardox plate
They resealed all the logic valves
and much, much more.
During the project, the crosshead unfortunately had to be sent away for machine work as the rear and side plates had worn.

Our project on this Lefort Amazon 1000 demonstrates the tasks and projects that SPM Engineering is able to undertake, proving that no job is too big or too small for our rapidly growing team.
